Raja Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Anjugramam, Tamil Nadu, is a hidden gem for Indian cuisine lovers. The establishment prides itself on serving exceptionally fresh dishes, with many diners praising the quality of their ingredients. Bharathi Srinivasan raves about the "freshest fish" they've ever tasted, highlighting the fluffy parottas and succulent mutton that tantalize the taste buds.
This restaurant stands out for its affordability, largely due to its ownership of farms that supply fresh produce and meat. K Nalini mentions the incredible value, with mutton priced at just 170 Rs. Whether you opt for the air-conditioned section for a nominal extra charge or enjoy the outdoor ambiance, the setting is inviting, though it lacks the grandeur of larger hotels. However, during peak hours, food delivery can be slower, which is a minor inconvenience for a place that offers such delightful fare.
Allwin Das also praises the crispy porotas and generous portion sizes, affirming that the food taste is consistently amazing.
In conclusion, Raja Restaurant delivers an authentic Indian dining experience with a focus on quality and value. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.

Review highlights
Based on 1,319 reviewsRaja Restaurant in Anjugramam is widely appreciated for its flavorful Indian cuisine, especially its fresh seafood, succulent mutton dishes, and well-prepared parottas. Customers frequently highlight the excellent taste and generous portion sizes. The restaurant offers both AC and non-AC seating, with reasonable pricing attributed to their own farm-supplied ingredients, which enhances value for money. Service is generally praised for being good, though some delays can occur during peak hours. While the ambiance is comfortable and suitable for casual dining, it may not match the scale of larger establishments. Overall, Raja Restaurant is recognized for consistent quality food and a pleasant dining experience at an affordable price point.
Excellent service and food. The Freshest Fish we had tasted ever. Fluffy parottas and aromatic succulent mutton definitely won our taste buds!!!!
The cost is cheap because they own farms for themselves, mutton is 170rs only. Ac and non AC service is there. Go for Ac 10rs extra. Atmosphere is good but not like big hotels. Service is mostly good, but during rush time you don't get the food immediately.
Food taste is Amazing n few items really tastes amazing and quantity is Good enough.. We get the Best crispy Porota here..
